Serving tasting menus in an intimate space that breaks down the barriers between kitchen and table, øxheart is one of a new kind of micro-restaurant that does away with the formality of fine dining while losing none of the sense of luxury.

The roots of øxheart's cuisine lie in the surrounding environment, with the farmed and wild produce of the Cotswolds providing a rich and varied bedrock for our food. We champion the best local producers while also searching further afield for the most exciting British ingredients. For our selection of wines we look to France, focusing on the most exciting small producers embracing regenerative, biodynamic and organic practices.

 

Menus evolve every calendar month in response to the rhythm of the seasons,  while a number of preservation techniques are utilised to expand culinary possibilities beyond familiar growing periods. We combine the traditional with a range of modern techniques, developing a flavour-focused style of cooking that embraces ember and flame.
